Synopsis:
The tale of the Simcox and Titmuss families, their quirks, quarrels, and quests. Centring around the Will of Simeon Simcox (Michael Hordern), Rector of Rapstone Fanner who mysteriously leaves his estate to Leslie Titmuss (David Threlfall), the newly elected local MP. Henry Simcox (Peter Egan), one of the Simcox sons, makes it his business to find out why his father would do such a thing.
