- Patlabor: The TV Series, is a Japanese anime television series that premiered in 1989. The series follows a group of robot policemen, who are known as the Second Special Vehicles Division (SV2). Taking place in a technological world, it is harder for the police to both investigate and fight the varied crimes. So, with their own robots (the Patlabors) to help them, the police are taking back the streets.
