- Synopsis:
- Wayne "Thunder" Carter (Courtney B. Vance) is a promising middleweight boxer, with the makings of a successful career ahead of him. When Thunder teams up with veteran trainer, Percy Banks (James Earl Jones) to contend for title after title, he looks set to take the world of boxing by storm. But in the corrupt field of prize fighting it seems that it may take more than talent to make it to the top.
