When a supermarket issues a new car share scheme. Assistant manager John Redmond and promotions rep Kayleigh Kitson are forced to commute together every day. But will they get along?... John drives Kayleigh home from work, reacting to songs on the radio and discussing stroke treatment, favourite meals and John's school trip to France. John is surprised when Kayleigh admits that she had her first boyfriend - now in prison - at the age of thirteen but secretly pleased when she suggests a - sort of - dinner date...John uses a song he recorded to get Kayleigh back in the car... just for old times' sake...
