The most intense holocaust - The Pianist review by JD

Spoiler Alert
17/10/2009

There have been several holocaust films each with a different message this was the most intensely horrifying and emotional by far. Extremely violent. Some of the acting was a bit thin (not Lipman's nor Finlay's finest) but utterly exhausting.

Document of the Polish Occupation. - The Pianist review by Steve

Spoiler Alert
23/09/2014

Polanski was a survivor of the Polish ghetto so brings personal experience to this true story about a Polish musician's degrading and desperate attempt to survive occupation; a story about how war diminishes the humanity of all. A little polished, but a powerful anti war message.
