Margaret persuades Henry to leave Gary and Nicola in charge of the restaurant for a day while they go to the races, courtesy of cider-maker Bob Bishop, Margaret's new client. One of Bishop's stable lads has been murdered and Fisher puts Henry and Cambridge in charge of the investigation. There are racially motivated attacks on Henry's local Chinese take-away - but all is not what it seems. Margaret is thrilled when the restaurant is nominated for the Great British Grub Competition but Henry isn't so happy about this turn of events.
