- Synopsis:
- Jeff Chandler and Lee Marvin star in this all-action western set in Oregon County during 1868, a time when Native Indian tribes were confined to a government sanctioned reservation against their will. As troops arrive, intent on carving a road through the Indian territory to open up lands for new settlers, the Indian chiefs react with violence. When an ambush by Chief Kamiakin's braves decimates the army's ranks, only a handful of men are left to fight their way to safety.
