Based upon the true-life story featured in 'Life' Magazine's blistering expose of the rampant corruption and criminal stranglehold that a Teamsters-controlled organisation had on the business owners of Portland, Oregon during the 1950's, 'Portland Expose' is the dark and gritty story of George Madison (Edward Binns) a bar owner who is pressured by the local teamsters to go into business with them. Deciding that it's better to play along rather than cause trouble, Madison does business with the mob. But when he witnesses his little neighbourhood bar turning into a seedy dive with gangster molls such as Iris (Jeanne Carmen) ruling the roost, he begins to have second thoughts.
