- Synopsis:
- The true story of an Olympic runner whose life was tragically cut short by a car accident. Jared Leto stars as Steve Prefontaine, the talented athlete who is recruited by college coach Bill Bowerman (R. Lee Ermey). He soon wins the NCAA championship and qualifies for the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. However, he returns home without a medal after being left shaken by the terrorist atrocities which left several athletes dead.
