Kunwar Karan Singh was the Zamindar of Anand Nagar. He was a rich man who lived in a world of wine and women. Lata was an honest and self respecting girl who belonged to a middle class family, she was an air hostess. When Karan met her he realised that she was a good girl and offered her a job as his secretary to which she agreed. Soon Lata realised that deep down Karan too was a good person and she was determined to bring him onto the right path and succeeded in doing so. They fell in love and Karan built a palace of love for his beloved 'Prem Nagar'.
On hearing of this Rani Maa and Karan's elder brother began creating obstacles in their way, how Karan and Lata braved these obstacles and succeeded on the path of love is the story of 'Prem Nagar'.
