Wonderful performances, Meryl as a rather flawed therapist is a revelation, and Uma Thurman stands up to her in every way. Good stuff.

Yes Streep is in good form here although the relationship between her and Uma Thurman's character never feels right. At its very heart Prime is a typical Romance with some comedy moments thrown in for good measure.
If you enjoy such films then you should curl up on the sofa and try this. Very middle of the road film with a surprising conclusion.
