- Synopsis:
- Prisoners’ Wives is a British drama series about the lives of a group of wives who must try and live their lives following their husbands incarceration. The series follows a series of women forced to cope with their absent husbands from Gemma (Emma Rigby), a young newlywed who must contend with her husband being arrested for murder, and Francesca (Polly Walker), the wife of a career criminal who has been in this position all too often. They must contend with this new situation together despite their many difficulties.
