Hamilton High School, 1957: an over-amorous couple are enjoying each other's company in the back of a car when they're unpleasantly interrrupted by Father Jonas (James Carver), a psychotic young priest who carves them up with a cruciform knife and then sets fire to their car. Father Jonas' over-zealous moral crusade does not go unnoticed by the local Catholic authorities, however, and they help him reconcile his obvious crisis of faith by locking him up in a church basement and drugging him insensible. Thirty-three years pass... When a trainee priest neglects to give Father Jonas his medication, the deranged priest escapes his captivity, taking refuge in a cabin in the woods, from where he can wage his war against the sinful. His musings are interrupted by four students - Meagan (Nicole de Boer), Laura (Joy Tanner), Mark (J.H. Wyman) and Jeff (Alle Ghadban) - who have skipped out on their Prom Night to spend time in the secluded cabin, now owned by Mark's father. Can these unlucky teenagers escape from being sacrificed on the altar of the priest's deranged faith?
