British biographical drama. The film follows the early life of brother and sister Brendan (David Rawle/Patrick Gibson) and Ann Marie O'Donnell (Hazel Doupe/Aisling Loftus) as they come of age in Ireland in the 1980's and '90's. Brendan's traumatic upbringing leads him to commit a triple murder at the age of 17, shortly after being released from prison. As her brother is sentenced for his crimes, Ann Marie also finds herself being victimised by his actions, for her mere association with her brother.
