Synopsis:
This video follows Public Enemy - Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Terminator X, Professor Griff, Brother Mike Williams and Brother James Norman on their very first invasion of Euro-UK shores during the Def Jam tour at Hammersmith Odeon, London in 1987. Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister, Nelson Mandela was still in a South African prison, Reagon was US President and the Wall was still up whilst Public Enemy stepped into this world with plenty to say, vintage interviews, and the incendiary performance. By pioneering a variation of hardcore rap that was musically and politically revolutionary, Public Enemy rewrote all the rules of hip-hop.
What began as the most influential and controversial rap group of the late 80's, has come to be known as the most definitive rap group of all time. Catch the Rolling Stones of rap as they begin their road to the world.
