Collection of three documentaries on Queen Elizabeth II. 'The Queen's Coronation: Behind Closed Doors' explores the tensions underlying Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953. While the event appeared to run smoothly from the outside,a number of historians argue that the coronation became a focus for the conflict between Prince Philip, who wanted to modernise the monarchy, and traditionalists such as the Queen Mother. 'The Changing Face of the Queen' examines the image of the Queen and how her appearance and style has altered over the course of her 60-year reign. Finally,'The Royal Wedding in Colour' contains original footage filmed by Jack Cardiff of the marriage between Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in the summer of 1947. The colour film features scenes from Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
