- Synopsis:
- Precocious youngster Eddie Lucca (Ian Hawkes) narrates this whimsical comedy about the romantic escapades of his parents, gambling dreamer Danilo (Joseph Long) and practical Rosa (Anita Zagaria), who defied their families by leaving Italy and opening a small restaurant in London. Along with their three older children and Rosa's grumpy mother, the couple tries to stave off both bankruptcy and Rosa's spurned suitor from the old country.
