Set in Bologna, it is a noir with deep and tense tones. The protagonist is Giorgia Cantini (Angela Baraldi), a forty-year-old private investigator, apparently surly, rebellious and instinctive. A private eye to Mike Hammer who, through his investigations, discovers an Italian province full of dark and dangerous corners, hidden truths and real problems: from the degradation of the urban suburbs populated by disillusioned and hopeless young people, to the industrial enterprise with manager corrupt and without principles if not that of easy money, from marginalization to building speculation, to corruption in institutions.
Red thread to unite all six episodes the mysterious death of Sara, the protagonist's younger sister.
