Benaras holds a special place in Kundan's heart, not only because he grew up there as a typical, god fearing, shiv bhakt-Pandit but also because it was the city that gave him Zoya, his first love. Quiet, beautiful with mischievous eyes, Zoya was the girl of his dreams. One day Kundan mustered the courage to tell her his true feelings. She didn't take him seriously and brushed him off.
