Right at the end of the rainbow there exists a magical kingdom called Rainbowland, where little Rainbow Brite and friends use the colours of the rainbow to make the whole world a brighter place. Together with her magical horse, Starlight and the little creatures called Sprites she protects Rainbowland from Murky and Lurky Dismal.

The story of how a brave little girl was sent to a desolate world to give it hope, joy and colour, earning the right to become Rainbow Brite. Her quest is filled with danger, but along the way she is helped by several friends.
The Beginning of Rainbowland: Part 2Having found the legendary colour belt, Rainbow Brite continues her quest to bring colour and beauty to a dark and unpleasant world. She overthrows an evil force to rescue the colour kids, who help her create a land of beauty and joy, called Rainbowland.

Brian, a boy on Earth, becomes multi-coloured when walks into a rainbow and Rainbow Brite must bring him to Rainbowland to set things right. While in Rainbowland, Brian has the adventure of his life as he helps Rainbow Brite foil one of Murky Dismals' evil plots to steal her colour belt.
The Mighty Monstromurk Menace: Part 1
Murky has imprisoned a fearsome monster, the Monstromurk, in a bottle, guaranteeing that he himself will remain the ultimate in nastiness. However, the Monstromurk escapes and menaces both Murky and Rainbowland.
The Mighty Monstromurk Menace: Part 2
