- Palestinian director Hany Abu-Assad finds love among the brutalities of war in this heart-tugging drama that chronicles the quest of headstrong 17-year-old Rana (Clara Khoury) to be reunited with her secret boyfriend, Khalil (Khalifa Natour). In less than a day, Rana must wend her way through war-torn neighborhoods, Israeli soldiers, desperate residents and lost citizens so she can wed her beloved Khalil.
