Colm Quinn directs this documentary which follows Irish journalist and broadcaster Charlie Bird as he battles Motor Neurone Disease and strives to complete his last story before his death. When Bird learns that in August 1979, the Irish Department of Agriculture was threatened with an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Ireland unless they paid a £5 million ransom, he and fellow writer Colin Murphy begin a relentless investigation to uncover the truth about what happened.
