Raving Iran (2016)

Susanne Regina Meures writes and directs this documentary which follows Iranians Anoosh and Arash as they attempt to beat the odds and make it as techno DJs. Established names in Tehran's underground techno scene, the DJs face serious repercussions from the police as they attempt to organise a rave in the desert and sell their latest album without permission. However, after Anoosh is arrested and all hope looks lost, the pair receive an unexpected invite to travel to Switzerland to play at one of the biggest techno festivals in the world.
