- Synopsis:
- Marlon Brando plays Major Pemberton, a repressed homosexual whose wife (Elizabeth Taylor) is having an affair with the lieutenant colonel next door. The lieutenant colonel's wife is a bed-ridden neurotic who spends all of her time in the company of her houseboy. Meanwhile Major Pemberton is obsessed with a private who is given to riding a horse naked and who is himself obsessed with the Major's wife.
