- Synopsis:
Preston plays the role of a brilliant playwright who is about to marry a glamorous film star, played by Lynn Redgrave. However on the eve of her Broadway stage debut, Redgrave’s character is found dead, and suicide is initially suspected. However, Preston suspects that she has in fact been murdered, and decides to create a new ply as part of an audacious plan to find the killer. The stage is set for plenty of drama and suspense when Preston assembles those he suspects may have been responsible for his fiancee’s dead. After gathering them together in an empty theatre, under the pretext of holding a read-through of his new play, Preston locks them in the building and is determined to find the murderer. The actors reconstruct the events that lead to Redgrave’s death. - Actors:
