- Adam Sandler, Don Cheadle, Liv Tyler and Jada Pinkett Smith star in this heart-rending story about Charlie Fineman (Sandler), a man who has slipped away from reality after the devastating loss of his family in the 9/11 terrorist attack. After a chance encounter with Alan Johnson (Cheadle), his old college room-mate, who is torn between the pressures of balancing a successful career and his family, a friendship blossoms and both men emerge enriched and enlightened because of the unbreakable bond between them.

Great film - Reign Over Me review by CP Customer
A really good film that made us laugh and cry. Don Cheadle is excellent as a successful dentist with a nice family life. Something seems to be missing though. He bumps in to old college room mate Charlie, played well by Adam Sandler, whose life was devastated by 9/11. A really interesting friendship develops, with Cheadle bringing Sandler back from the brink of insanity. Gentle, funny and touching.

yes finaly a film of class, didnt think he had it in him? adam sandler. but he has/had good acting from all decent storyline and real emotional film.recomended as a uplifting experiance and a insight into the real 9/ storys

A nice movie to make you smile - Reign Over Me review by CP Customer
It's weird seeing Adam Sandler in such a serious role, but he does it well. His character Charlie is very complex after loosing his family in the 9/11 attacks. It makes you think about all those who were affected, and, if being different than "normal" is really that bad? This film made me think about juding people when you don't know their background.
Liv Tyler is great, Jada Pinkett Smith is ok, and Don Cheadle is brilliant as always.
