Jake Doyle (Allan Hawco) and his father Malachy (Sean McGinley) run a private investigations agency in St. John's, Newfoundland. Their cases involve them in all sorts of dealings - not all of them on the right side of the law...The Doyles are hired to track down a kidnapped postal worker whose wife just might have a hand in his disappearance...When Des (Mark O'Brien) finds himself in a very bizarre and compromising position, the Doyle clan works overtime to get him off the hook. Jake meets someone who has been complicating Allison's life...When Tinny (Marthe Bernard) and Des are kidnapped in broad daylight, Jake is forced to confront a dangerous man from his past to get them back.
Leslie (Krystin Pellerin) loses something else very precious to her. Jake makes a decision about his future with Allison (Michelle Nolden)...
