Lucas (Kim Kold), a former Danish Army Officer, travels to Derry following his estranged son's death, and finds that there was another side to his son's life and the people he was friends with. One such friend, Michael (Grayson James Matthews), fights in unlicensed boxing matches for quick cash, trained by his father, who is unaware that his son has been questioning his sexuality. With a fight against undefeated 'King of the Gypsies' Brian Beru (Shane Robinson) on the horizon, Michael's personal life is thrown into turmoil. Unprepared for the bout, but with no choice but to fulfil his obligation, Lucas steps in to help his late son's friend, who needs all the help he can get if he is to survive the fight of his life.
