Synopsis:
Developed and hosted by resistance-training expert Everett Aaberg, the director of education and personal training for International Athletic Club Management in Dallas and the 2001 IDEA International Personal Trainer of the Year, the Resistance Training Instruction video Series walks trainers through the steps of instructing clients during resistance training. The video's demonstrate the proper techniques for the participant and proper instructional methods for the fitness professional. Resistance Training Instruction: Lower Body demonstrates exercises from the hip down. Since the hip's primary function is to work with the knee and ankle during compound movements, numerous variations of squats, presses, and lunges are presented. Several exercises that isolate lower-body movements are also included, as these more specific exercises may be equally important for accomplishing a variety of goals.
