Rent Return of the Saint: Series (1979)

After nearly a decade away from the small screen, 1978 saw the 'Return of the Saint' - this time with a new actor wearing the halo: Ian Ogilvy. Taking on board both the style and panache that made Roger Moore's tenure as The Famous Simon Templar so memorable, the series updated Leslie Charteris' concept for the Seventies, giving it a somewhat harder edge whilst retaining the global scope of the original stories. Filmed on location throughout Europe, 'Return of the Saint' featured a wealth of guest stars, including Ian Hendry, Annette Andre, Stuart Wilson, Linda Thorson, Gayle Hunnicutt, Stratford Johns and Derren Nesbitt.
