Documentary from film-maker duo Louis Black and Karen Bernstein on the life and work of independent film director Richard Linklater. Charting his life and his cult successes with 'Slacker' (1991), 'Dazed and Confused' (1993) as well as the recently acclaimed 'Boyhood' (2014), the documentary charts Linklater's career and the making of his films, featuring access to on-set footage and the director's detailed journals. Included are interviews with some of the actors Linklater has worked with, such as Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy, Jack Black and Matthew McConaughey, as well as members of his family.
