In Turin, the Platz is one of the largest slums in all of Europe. A community of over a thousand people has been living there for years, on which a dismantling project is burdened. Some families surveyed by the Prefecture will be transferred to apartments while for others the alternatives consist of returning to their country of origin or finding makeshift accommodations. The documentary shows the last months of the slum's existence. Florentina and Denis, two teenagers, Marcel Pentecostal pastor capable of keeping the community together, the 'old' Ana and Elena, Settimo, an Italian who fell in love with Ionela and now treats her with love because she suffers from hepatitis. These are just some of the people (not the characters) that the De Serio brothers present to us in this film with a 'rhizomic' structure as they define it, formed by "an intertwined network of paths, in which each point is connected to others, where it is they can constantly create new lines of flight, new points of tangency of identity and stories". The cinema of the two brothers from Turin is characterized by the compassion (in the highest sense of the word) they feel for the subjects to whom they devote their attention.
