- Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) and Judge Reinhold (Beverly Hills Cop) star in this mega-horsepower road-race adventure in a place where the wildest legends of the road come alive America's legendary Route 66! Well-to-do preppier Beckman (Reinhold) is a on his way to Palm Springs when he hits major road trouble. Terrorized by a highway gang, he is stranded and helpless until he meets Johnny (Dafoe). A mysterious loner running from his past, Johnny takes Beckman on a rough-riding road trip to a bar called Roadhouse 66, where they tangle with two gorgeous sisters, confront the violent gang and enter a piston-pounding race with a super-charged, full-throttle finish!
