Rock, Baby, Rock It tells the story of a teen-age club with the kind of spirit that breathes success into our youth of today. Faced with the problems of losing their club room to a wire syndicate these wonderful and talented kids set out to put on a great benefit show to raise money for rent and to help a friendly landlord.
They succeed in getting Kay Lee, "Queen of the Rock & Bop" and her attorney Marv Newman to help. Kay Lee uses her influence to get acts while Marv aids with his legal knowledge and connections.
The action is climaxed in a spectacular fight between the kids and the wire syndicate strong arms. The federal agents arrive in time to turn the tide and the great show is presented.
Story continuity is delightful, carried by young and beautiful Gayla Graves, Linda Wheeler, Don Coats, and Dave Miller.
Action aplenty is provided as the search for talent is made in the various night clubs and their aid sought.
Seventeen sensational new song hits are introduced and presented by Johnny Carrol of Decca fame, Don Coats & The Bon Aires of King Records, the antics of the Columbia artists, The Cell Block Seven, the new styles of Preacher Smith & Rosco Gordon, the teen-aged Belew Twins score in two hits songs, the Five Stars really rock out and the whole affair is capped with a truly new and great dance performed by Kay Wheeler, backed by the music of the Cell Block Seven and the heated voice of Johnny Carroll.
Much interest has been created by the introduction to films of Kay Wheeler. This is the girl that has created the largest fan club organization in the world for Presley. She prints her own newspaper and has had featured right ups in National magazines. Her local club claims 57,000 members and the National approximately 3,000,000.
