Synopsis:
The Moonglows:
Among the most seminal R&B and doo wop groups of all time. The Moonglows' lineup featured some of the genre's greatest pure singers. The original lineup from Louisville included Bobby Lester, Harvey Fuqua, Alexander Graves, and Prentiss Barnes, with guitarist Billy Johnson. They were originally called The Crazy Sounds, but were renamed by disc jockey Alan Freed as The Moonglows.

Chuck Berry:
Chuck Berry who created the beginning of a sound that would excite and electrify three generations to come with the sound of rock 'n' roll!

The Flamingos:
Elegant vocals, musical pioneers, living legends, all terms used by legions of music lovers to describe the Flamingos. The simplest and most direct accolade would be that they were the best vocal group in history.

Alan Freed:
Freed truly loved rock and roll, claimed to have never have played a record he didn't like and never forgot where the music came from. Alan Freed was inducted in to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.

Frankie Lymon:
As lead vocalist with the Teenagers, Frankie Lymon became the first black teenage singing idol. The group's success inspired the formation of a number of youthful black vocal groups, from the Students in the late '50s to the Jackson Five in the '60s. The group's sound influenced young singers such as Ronnie Bennett and Diana Ross, and served as prototype for both the girl groups and early Motown groups of the '60s.

Connie Francis:
Connie Francis is among the best female recording artist of all time in terms of record sales. She was the top female vocalist of the late 50's and early 60's.

The Chuckles:
The Chuckles hit the Top 30 with Runaround that entered the charts in mid-November 1954 and peaked at #20. Lead singer Teddy Randazzo, wrote the Steve Lawrence hit "Pretty Blue Eyes", "Have You Looked Into Your Heart" for Jerry Vale, went solo and hit the charts with "The Way Of A Clown".
