The age of the samurai is drawing to an end, with the clans broken up, and the warriors become unemployed wanderers...ronin. Disoriented, without any status in society, and with their code discarded, a number of ronin take shelter at a run down lodging house. Their attitudes range from nihilistic disengagement to social desperation. Into this world arrive a band of the shogun's retainers, fanatics with a mission to cleanse society of all that they class as degenerates. The whores of the village are the first on their list, and a savage slaughter commences. Only the ronin can intervene...if they can either overcome their apathy of their slavish desire to reintegrate within a system that has become corrupt and bestial. - Actors:
