Roobarb! - The mangy green mongrel with an overactive imagination takes centre stage for the complete collection of his hair-brained schemes. Custard! - Roobarb's next door neighbour, a lazy and mischievous bright pink cat, who's always ready to poke fun at Roobarb's mishaps! And some rather excitable birds. Johnny Hawksworth's jangly theme music, Bob Godfrey's wobbly animation and the voice-over by Richard Briers, these are all the hallmarks of the Roobarb and Custard animation series that hit our TV screens in 1974. 50 years on, Roobarb still captivates generations with four-and-a-half minutes of pulsating anarchic cartoon madness, all drawn with magic markers, that is just pure TV heaven!
