- Tracking a suspect in the Arizona desert, two FBI Special Agents (Lou Diamond Phillips and Lori Petty), are forced to take a shortcut along a condemned, desolate highway known as Route 666. What they discover is a danger far beyond their worst imaginings. Years ago , a notorious chain gang was killed in an horrific roadside murder and the highway still echoes with the vengeful screams of its brutal legacy.
