Synopsis:
An intimate portrait of the renowned bass-baritone Ruggero Raimondi as he prepares to perform his favourite role at the Teatro Communale Di Bologna in 1992. As well as allowing the cameras to follow him through the rehearsal process alongside conductor Riccardo Chailly, the singer also takes time out to reflect on his career, and coach students studying the role at the Bologna Conservatory.
