- Max (Vincent D'Onofrio) is a small-time criminal who trades in stolen goods. One day an equally ruthless criminal named Jack (Matthew Lillard) turns up at his warehouse apartment, falsely claiming to be his brother. The smoothly persuasive Jack soon talks Max into joining him in the biggest score of his life - a million dollar scam involving some mysterious 16th century pistols known as The Spanish Judges. But when the simple job develops into a bloodbath, the true secret of The Spanish Judges is revealed in the blood-soaked aftermath!
