- Robin Williams is on top form as an overworked husband and father trying to keep it all together in RV, an outrageous family-adventure comedy that everyone can relate to. After promising to take the family on holiday in Hawaii, Bob abruptly changes plans without telling them. Instead of a week in a tropical paradise, they're going on a road trip to Colorado in a recreational vehicle. Dragging his wife and kids kicking and screaming into the RV, Bob's plan for quality time with his family (which is partly a ruse to keep him from losing his job) almost immediately hits a major speed bump. Everything that can go wrong, does, making it obvious, it's going to be a bumpy and hilarious ride!

Enjoyable family comedy - R.V. (Runaway Vacation) review by CP Customer
Robin Williams plays a man trying to balance his roles as breadwinner, husband and father to 2 teenagers. He is put under pressure at work and rather than let his family down by cancelling their holiday, he changes plans at the last minute. Unfortunately, no one is too thrilled at the prospect of a few weeks on a bus. They meet some 'interesting' characters on the way, in which we learn that you can't judge a book by its cover. There is some good slapstick comedy, and witty one-liners as you would expect from Williams. A nice twist at the end.
