Synopsis:
The MET welcomed renowned tenor Placido Domingo for this opening presentation from the opera house's 1998 season, which also highlighted Domingo's 30th anniversary onstage at the MET. In this moving performance, Samson struggles to deny his feelings for the determined Delilah. Rounding out the cast are Sergei Leiferkus, Richard Paul Fink, Rene Pape, Charles Anthony, Bernard Fitch and Alfred Walker.
