Salzburg Festival: Nikolaus Harnoncourt (2013)

Collection of two live performances conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Salzburg Festival. In 'Ouverture Spirituelle', performed in Salzburg Cathedral in 2012, Harnoncourt leads the Arnold Schoenberg Choir and the Concentus Musicus Wien in performances of Mozart's 'Litaniae de Venerabili Altaris Sacramento' and 'Missa longa'. The featured soloists are Sylvia Schwartz, Elisabeth Von Magnus, Jeremy Ovenden and Florian Boesch. In 'The Seasons' Harnoncourt conducts the Wiener Philharmoniker in a performance of Haydn's oratorio, recorded in Salzburg's Great Festival Hall in July 2013.
