Synopsis:: Though penniless social worker Saraswatichandra would rather remain a bachelor, he agrees to marry Kumud Sundari to appease his father. Once Saraswatichandra meets his beautiful bride-to-be, however, he immediately becomes smitten and falls deeply in love until Kumud yields to family pressure and weds a rich two-timer in this engrossing film from director Govind Saraiya.
