For the first time ever, women join men in an attempt to pass this unique version of SAS Selection. In a landmark moment for the British Special Forces, SAS selection has now opened to women for the very first time. Leading the way, this hew series sends a group of 25 men, and women high into the spectacular and punishing Andes Mountains in Central Chile. It's a long, tough course spanning 11 gruelling days, in a hostile and unforgiving winter warfare environment. The recruits eat, sleep and wash together with no allowances made for gender, as their mental and physical strength is tested to the limits. As the recruits progress through the course they're forced to confront surprising truths about themselves to discover their real characters. Will they have what it takes to make it through this unique version of SAS selection?
