The daughter of Alyona Pavlovna (Svetlana Bragarnik), the chairman of the city executive committee is abducted. The crime is committed by a seemingly handsome young man named Vitaliy (Sergey Kupriyanov). He continues to live, as if nothing had happened, demanding a ransom from her mother. He is a man out of a sense of revenge without hesitation goes to the abduction of a child, blackmail and even murder. He is spiritual, vicious, dissolute, and is not afraid of retribution. What kind of life did Vitaliy lead? Why and what prompted him to such a terrible act? The desire to then terrorize the mother of the murdered girl? He, demanding a ransom, gives hope to a woman.
