It's the story of how our feelings about our history have changed in recent times, what those shifts tell us about ourselves and how they've shaped who we are. Times architecture critic, Tom Dyckoff takes us on this journey of discovery. Taking key events since the war - events that changed Britain - Saving Britain's Past combines social history, ideas and emotions, archive and stunning shots of Britain at its best. In seven dramatic stories, the British men and women who have campaigned and protested to save our heritage will tell their stories for the first time.
