- Synopsis:
- Canadian drama written and directed by Isioro Tokunbo Jaboro. The film follows Brenda Jackson (Karen Simpson), an aspiring singer tirelessly performing in local bars in a bid to break into the music industry. Things begin to look up for Brenda when she meets and falls for Steve Reeds (Martin Lindquist), a wealthy businessman who promises to make her dreams a reality. However, when Steve begins abusing her both emotionally and physically, Brenda is forced to make some tough decisions as she looks for a way out. The cast also includes Nosa Obaseki, Cai Gallant and Beverley McMillan.
