- Synopsis:
- After losing his family in a tragic bombing, Joshua (Dennis Quaid) avenges their death in a murderous rampage. To escape his crime he changes his name to Guy and joins the foreign legion. Eventually, finding himself in war-torn Bosnia, he soon becomes hardened to the horrors of war, fighting as a mercenary for the Serbs. A prisoner exchange leaves him responsible for Vera, a Muslim raped Serb who now carries the product of her heinous ordeal. But when Vera rejects her newborn child, Guy is forced to nurture the infant and rebuild his own humanity.
