Synopsis:
The 2014 Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough saw the usual big crowds, dodgy weather and thrilling racing. The Yorkshire seaside resort's climate didn't prove too much of a bar to racing or the crowd's enjoyment of the spectacle of superb, close racing on England's only real road racing circuit. The tight and twisty parkland course lends itself to fabulously close battles, where skill and bravery are needed in equal measure to negotiate the narrow roads and sharp corners in company with a host of other speed merchants. With all the highlights of the key races this Official Review will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish as Ivan Lintin battles with John McGuinness, Bruce Anstey, James Cowton and more masters of the Mount!
